This Privacy Policy explains how Speedway Central AU ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and stores your information when you use our app.
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and, where your sign-in provider shares it, your name. This is used to identify your account, sync your data, and display your name to members of any team you join. We do not access your contacts, photos, other personal files, or your device's location.
We store your saved race calendars, favourite tracks, divisions and series, and your app preferences in a secure cloud database (MongoDB Atlas). This data is linked to your account and synced across your devices.
If you enable notifications, your device's push token is registered with our servers so we can send you race reminders and alerts (for example, new races at your favourite tracks or divisions, and team calendar updates). Push delivery is handled by Expo and, on Android, Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or your device settings.

The free version of the app displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may use device information and your device's advertising identifier in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. On iOS, we do not request tracking permission, so ads are served without using your device's advertising identifier (non-personalised). You can reset or limit ad personalisation in your device settings. Premium subscribers do not see ads.
Premium subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (for example, whether premium is active) but not your full payment card details, which are handled by the app store.
We use your information only to provide and improve the app — calendar sync, race reminders, personalised preferences, serving ads in the free version, understanding usage, and fixing bugs. We do not sell your personal information.

We take all reasonable steps to protect your information. Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored in a secured cloud database with access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under Australia's Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Your data is stored with service providers (such as MongoDB Atlas) whose servers may be located outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers that protect your information to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles. By using the app, you consent to your information being transferred to and stored in these locations, which may have different data-protection laws to your own.
We keep your information until you choose to delete it. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app's Settings, and deletion is permanent and irreversible. Please note that simply uninstalling the app does not remove data held in our cloud backup — to delete that data, use the in-app delete option, or email us at admin@speedwaycentralau.com and we will delete it for you.
You can access, update, or delete your personal information at any time — most of it directly in the app's Settings, or by emailing us. Depending on your region, you may also have rights to request a copy of your data, correct it, or object to certain processing. Australian users can lodge a privacy complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
You can disable notifications and delete your account and data from within the app at any time.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
